Charles E. Baker of Warsaw, KY was born August 15, 1924 and died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Florence at the age of 88.
Charles was the son of the late Charles Edward, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Maxwell Baker. He was a member of the South Fork Christian Church, a farmer, a retired maintenance and delivery driver for Demoisey Gas, Tumler and Suburban Propane, and Elmo Baker & Sons, a member of the Tadmor Lodge #108 F. & A. M. and OES #441 Ghent, KY. On January 9, 1943 he was united in marriage to Thelma Frances Kemper who preceded him in death on April 5, 2011.
Survived is 1 son, Ralph Baker of Sparta, KY; 5 daughters, Bonnie Mullikin of Ellettsville, IN, Deborah Marksberry and Pamela Hutchinson both of Verona, KY, Patricia Kemper of Ghent, KY and Tina Riddle of Warsaw, KY; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY, with burial in the Hughes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00pm-8:00pm Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the funeral home, with a Masonic and OES service at 7:00pm.
