Marilyn Ann Worster Fuchs, 78, of Edgewood, KY passed away on December 16, 2012 at 12:05 pm at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY due to complications following surgery.


Visitation will be 11:30AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona KY, with funeral services at 1:00PM at the funeral home.Interment will be at the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.


Marilyn was born on June 5, 1934 in Elsmere, KY, the daughter of the late James and Blanche (Webster) Worster.She married Robert Thomas Fuchs of Erlanger on June 7, 1952.They enjoyed 58 years together.Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, James Ralph, her husband, and her parents.


She is survived by 3 children, Karen Beauchamp of Urbana, IL; R. Thomas Fuchs of Park Hills, KY: and Rick Fuchs of Independence, KY; 3 grandchildren, Jaime Criel of Brooklyn, NY; Robb Foxx of Albuquerque, NM; and Nathan Beauchamp of Urbana, IL; and 1 great-grandchild, Jude Foxx of Albuquerque, NM.


Dear to her heart was her membership in, leadership of, and devotion to numerous historical/hereditary organizations, including the Colonial Dames XVII Century, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Huguenot Society, the National Society Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, Society of the Descendants of the Colonial Clergy, the Jamestowne Society, the Daughters of the Union, First Families of Kentucky, and the National Society Magna Charta Dames.She treasured dearly her friends in these organizations for many years and served as an officer at the local, state, and national levels for several organizations.She was also a member of the Florence Women's Club and the St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary.She was an avid embroiderer, a student of American and European history, and a devotee of all things British.
