Charles Howard Morgan Jr

March 17, 1936 - February 22, 2013

Charles Howard Morgan, Jr., resident of Crittenden,was born in Richmond, Kentucky on March 17, 1936 and passed away at the Florida Hospital Hospicecare in Ormond Beach, Florida on February 22, 2013 at the age of 76. Mr. Morgan was the son of the late Charles Howard and Grace Florence McCain Morgan.

On July 3, 1959, he was united in marriage with the former Mary Kathryn Landrum. From this union, one daughter was born: Kathy Blankenship of Erlanger, Kentucky. In addition to his loving wife and daughter, Mr. Morgan is survived by his grandchildren: Amy Blankenship and Benjamin Blankenship; his brothers:James W. Morgan of Mason, Kentucky and Curtis Ray Morgan of Mason, Kentucky; his sister:Helena Billiter of Elsmere, Kentucky and many otherrelatives and friends.

A retired cable supervisor for Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Charleswas a member ofthe Telephone Pioneers ofAmerica and attended the Crittenden BaptistChurch.

Funeralservices will be 7:00 PMThursday, February 28, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St.,Crittenden, KY 41030.Friends maycall at the funeral home from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday.A family burial service will take place 10:00 AM, Friday,March 1, 2013at the Crittenden Cemetery,Crittenden, Kentucky. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Crittenden Baptist Church.
