Melrose Lynn

June 16, 1923 - July 25, 2014

Melrose Wainscott Lynn was born in Owen County, Kentucky on June 16, 1923 and passed away at St. Elizabeth, Grant County in Williamstown on July 25, 2014 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Arthur D. and Willie Clifton Wainscott.

The last of 11 children, Mrs. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Atwood Lynn. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ridenour of Dry Ridge and her son, Russell E. Jump of Williamstown; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

A cook for many years at the Carlsbad Nursing Home in Dry Ridge and later helping as a home caregiver, Melrose was a member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice. Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 is in charge of arrangements.
