Marion Lusby

December 1, 1931 - April 15, 2014

Marion Grace Margaret Lusby, resident of Williamstown, was born in St. Catharines,Ontario, Canada on December 1, 1931 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on April 15, 2014 at the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late Robert Fredric and May Susan Albon Sleeth.

On October 24, 1952 she was united in marriage with Delbert Wayne Lusby. In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, Marion is survived by her daughter, Paula Lusby of Williamstown; son, Barry Lusby of Annapolis, MD; sisters: June Walrath of North Tonawanda, NY and Robin Chapis of St. Catharines, ONT; brother: Robert Sleeth of St.Catharines,ONT; two grandsons: Brian Lusby and Justin Lusby; two great grandsons: Drew Lusby and Landon Lusby and many other friends and relatives. One son, Mark Lusby passed away November 14, 1994 and sister, Bonnie Purdie also preceded Mrs. Lusby in death.

A member of the Williamstown Christian Church, Mrs. Lusby was a member of the Grant County Homemakers and helped her husband for many years in the family business, the Triple L. Company.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown Christian Church, the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Spina Bifida Association of Ontario.
