Margaret "Peggy" Claypool

June 28, 1940 - March 16, 2014

Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Claypool was born June 28, 1940 inAugusta, KY and passed away March 16, 2014 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 73. She was the daughter of the late Eddie Con and Helen Melissa Pell Lea.

She was a faithful and devoted member of Violet Ridge Church of Christ and a retired Clerk for Levi Strauss. On Nov. 25, 1959 she was united in marriage to Bobby Bradford Claypool.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by2 daughters: Dreama El Bribri of Elsmere and Gayla Claypool of Florence; a son: Stephen Claypool of Sharonville, OH; a sister: Thelma Fay Warford of St. Albans, WV; six grandchildren: Justin Yelton, Chelsea Yelton, Kristopher Claypool, Abigail Claypool, Jonathon Burkhart, and Tyann Rider; and 3 great grandchildren: Nathaniel Regensburger, Kirsten Taylor, and Georgia Rose Chamberlin.

Peggy was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Maidia and Jean Lanham, and a son: Robert Keith Claypool.

Funeral services are 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, at Violet Ridge Church of Christ in Crittenden, KY. Visitation is 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bracken Co.
