Peggy S. Martin of Dry Ridge, KY was born September 19, 1937 in Corbin, KY and died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY, at the age of 78.

She was the daughter of the late James Herschel Edmond and Dossie Delores McKeeham DeJarnette, and a former Waitress with Ground Round Steak House in Florence, KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her former husband A. J. Martin.

Surviving is 2 sons, Tony Martin of Erlanger, KY and Mark (Susan) Martin of Marysville, OH; 1 daughter, Lisa Martin of Burlington, KY; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Rita Gaddis of Hamilton, OH.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY followed by entombment in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
