Gladys Ileene Kirk

February 25, 1923 - April 22, 2016

Gladys Ileene Kirk was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on February 25, 1923 and passed away at her daughter's home in Covington, Kentucky on April 22, 2016 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Leona Points Perry. Her husband, Elmer Jackson Kirk preceded her in death in 1977.

Mrs. Kirk was a Life Insurance Underwriter with the AETNA Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati for over 33 years. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Covington. Gladys is survived by her daughters: Denise (Terry) Workman of Covington and Nedra Karen Rodgers of Falmouth; 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 32 great great grandchildren. she was preceded in death by her son: Johnny Nathan Carpenter; daughter: Aleta Diane Kirk; brother: Donald Perry and sister: Gayla Maxine Smith

Funeral services for Mrs. Kirk will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 29, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in the Gumlick Cemetery, Pendleton County following the funeral. Memorials are suggested to the Gumlick Cemetery.
