Mary Tate Marksberry, a Mt. Sterling resident and formerly of Corinth, passed away at Saint Joseph on Tuesday, October 10, 2014 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Marksberry and her son, Larry Marksberry.
Mrs. Marksberry was a former member of the Lystra Church of Christ, and had previously worked at Bruce''s Grocery for over 17 years.
She was the last sibling of her family of 12.She is survived by her son Danny Marksberry of Jeffersonville, KY, 5 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 1-3 pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.Graveside services will follow after the visitation at the Antioch Church Cemetery in Keefer. Memorials are suggested to the Gideon''s International, P.O. Box 130, Williamstown, KY 41097, or to New Beginnings, 139 Jefferson St., Winchester, KY 40391.
