Sharon Elizabeth Walcott

November 17, 1947 - December 10, 2016

Sharon Elizabeth Walcott was born November 17, 1947 in Dobbs Ferry, New York and passed away December 10, 2016 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Elizabeth Short Westlake. In 1976 Sharon was united in marriage to Edward Earl Walcott.

Sharon was a retired school teacher with the New York City Schools. She devoted much of her free time working in various animal shelters as a volunteer.

In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by a brother: Warren Westlake of New Milford, CT; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc., 42 Ackerman Rd., Warwick, NY 10990.
