James McKinley Baker

November 14, 1921 - December 5, 2016

Mr. James McKinley Baker, a Verona resident, departed this life on Monday, December 5th, 2016 at his residence at the age of 95. Mr. Baker was born on November 14, 1921 to the late Charles Russell Baker and Lennie Gregg. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 yrs, Barbara Martin Baker.

Mr. Baker was a lifelong dairy farmer and owner/operator of Baker Brothers Hillview Farm in Verona, KY.

Mr. Baker is survived by his caregiver Tim & Betty Slusher of Verona, KY, cousin Billy Lewis of Ft. Mitchell, KY, one niece, Kimberly Sanders of Zanesville, OH, one nephew, Clay Hardin of Wichita, KS, and Cody Moore whom he cherished like a grandson. James will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all whom knew him.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 11am-2pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY. Funeral Services will also be Thursday at 2pm. Burial will follow at the Baker Family Cemetery in Verona, KY.
