Allen Dale Sparks

February 26, 1957 - September 2, 2016

Allen Dale Sparks was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 26, 1957 and passed away at his home in Harrison, Ohio on September 2, 2016 at the age of 59. He was the son of the late James D. and Edna Jean Massengale Sparks.

On July 2, 1988, Allen was united in marriage with the former Vicki Lou Ross. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son: Allen Ray Sparks of Lexington; his daughter: Jennifer Kay Walker of MIlton; hisgrandchildren: Kaylei, Kenon, Brayden, Brianna, Jase and Jaxson;his brothers: James D. Sparks Jr. of Lexington, Randy Lee Sparks of Lexington and David Earl Sparks of Lexington and many other relatives and friends. A sister, Linda Sue Caudill preceded him in death.

An active member of the South Fork ChristianChurch in Warsaw, Kentucky andthe Whitewater Crossing Christian Church in Cleves, Ohio, Allen was a heavy equipment operator for the Sunesis Construction Company in West Chester, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home 132 S. Main Street, Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemtery, Verona, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the family or to the South Fork Christian Church.
