William Estel "Pretzel" Landrum

July 21, 1937 - March 16, 2016

Mr. Estel Pretzel'' Landrum passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at his residence at the age of 78. He was survived by his wife Janice Landrum.

Mr. Landrum was born on July 21, 1937 in Crittenden, KY and was originally one of eleven brothers and sisters. He was a retired machinist for Signode Corporation in Florence, KY. He was also a former employee of Doc''s service station / Coach Stop as well as Humphries gas station in Crittenden. Mr. Landrum loved to pitch horseshoes, was a former Mason, former pitcher for Walton Concrete fast-pitch softball, coach for Grant County Little League, was a member of the Eagle Creek Country Club and loved to golf.

In addition to his wife Janice of 31 years, Estel is survived by two sons, Daryl Landrum (Becky), Dale Landrum, one daughter, Darla McClanahan all of Crittenden, two brothers, Lee Landrum of Crittenden, Donnie Landrum of Edgewood, three sisters, Mary Catherine Morgan of Crittenden, Betty L. Hollon of Crittenden, Erma Mullins of Morningview, and former wife and mother of his children, Alberta M. Caldwell, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Estel was preceded in death by brothers Elbert Dickie'', Albert Wayne, Robert Bobby'', Homer and Roy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 3-6pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY. Funeral services will follow at 6pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Crittenden Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Rd., Florence, KY 41042.
