Okey D Shamblin

Okey Darel Shamblin of Williamstown, Kentucky was born July 28, 1934 in Clay County, West Virginia and died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his residence at the age of 81.

He was the son of the late William and Sarah Lyons Shamblin. He was a US Army Veteran, a retired self-employed plumber and pipe fitter, a member of the Free and Accepted Masons # 777 Harrodsburg KY, and a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union Local# 430.
Surviving is his fiancé of 30+ years, Lillian Ruth Bailey of Williamstown; 1 son Johnny Nichols of Corinth; 1 daughter Tina Shamblin; 2 grandchildren; 3 stepsons, Lowell Bailey of Ludlow, Roscoe Bailey, II, of Burlington, and Gary Bailey of Erlanger; 2 step-daughters, Lorna Moyer of New York and Kimberly Price of Williamstown; 15 step-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Clarice Parsons of Youngstown, OH, and Shirley King of WV and 2 brothers, Roscoe Shamblin of Youngstown, OH and Bunk Shamblin of Glascoe, KY.
Memorial services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
