Brenda Kay Roland

February 15, 1947 - February 19, 2016

Brenda Kay Roland was born February 15, 1947 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away February 19, 2016 in Port Richey, Florida at the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Rowena Mae Conrad Covey.

Brenda was a former advertising delivery person for Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing in Cincinnati, Ohio for 21 years and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

On August 12, 1966 Brenda was united in marriage to Harry Lee Roland who preceded her in death on July 19, 2003. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters: Debbie Claypool of Athens, Alabama and Lisa Hodge of Sanford, North Carolina; and 1 sister: Geneva Whaley of Cincinnati, OH. She was alsoblessed withtwo grandchildren: Vanessa Pons and Jesse Sexton; and two great grandchildren: Zayden and Skyla Pons.

She preceded in death by six sisters: Joyce Whitney, Belva Tomlin, Margaret Johnson, Elsie Boothe, Ruth Gentry and Clara Lee Thurman; and one brother: Henry Covey.

Graveside services will 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge with Bro. Gary Swick conducting the service.
