Douglas Lee Magee

November 4, 1962 - January 31, 2016

Mr. Douglas Lee Magee passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Grant Co. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 53. He was the husband of Lura Cornett Magee.

Mr. Magee was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church in Corinth and was a lifelong farmer who had a passion for growing vegetable plants. He loved the outdoors, and loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his wife Lura, Doug is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Hutchins Magee of Williamstown, father and stepmother, Joseph Magee (Peggy) of Williamstown, three sons, Brian D. Magee (Crystal), Ethan D. Magee, Isaac D. Magee all of Williamstown, four brothers, Joey Magee of Williamstown, Alex Magee of Owenton, Roy Magee of Williamstown, Wesley Magee of Williamstown, two sisters, Brenda Souder of Corinth, Phyllis White of Dry Ridge, and two grandchildren, Cierra and Isaiah Magee.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 10am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Magee Family Cemetery in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Friendship Baptist Church, P.O. Box 212, Corinth, KY. 41010.
