Shannon Gene Dixon

November 2, 1976 - January 14, 2009

Shannon Gene Dixon was born November 2, 1976 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away January 14, 2009 in Glencoe, Kentucky at the age of 32 years and 2 months. He was the son of Gene L. Dixon of Verona and Betty Sue and Ray Ross of Crittenden.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons: Anthony Dixon of Independence and Kevin McKinley of Covington; three daughters: Hannah and Haley Dixon both of Independence and Adellyn Dunbar of Albany, New York; one half-brother: Michael Dixon of Verona; two half-sisters: Rhonda Goodman of Verona and Angie Bishop of Independence; his paternal grandmother Nola Dixon of Verona and his maternal grandmother Peggy Wesley of Glencoe.

Funeral services for Shannon will be Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home inVerona. The visitation will also be Monday after 10:00 AM at the funeral home. The burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
