Edward V Goehring

July 26, 1946 - November 27, 2014

Edward Vernon Goehring, resident of Dry Ridge, was born in Covington, Kentucky on July 26, 1946 and passed away at St. Elizabeth, Grant County in Williamstown, Kentucky on November 27, 2014 at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Frederick Edward and Cornelia Leigh Scudder Goehring,

Ed is survived by his daughters: Rae Lee Goehring of Dry Ridge and JudithAnn Bruin of Dry Ridge; son: Charley Wilson of Dry Ridge; former wife: Pamela L. Goehring of Dry Ridge; sisters: Roselyn Beach of Walton and Marcene McIntyre of Florence and five grandchildren. Two sisters, Marian Stolz and Judy O'Conner preceded him in death.

Mr. Goehring was a transmission specialist and worked for AAMCO for many years before operating his own transmission shop by the name of Farney's Transmissions in Latonia.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Monday. Burial will follow in the Napoleon Cemetery in Gallatin County.
