Irene Davis Smith, 93, of Covington, KY, was born September 7, 1919, in Breathitt County, KY and died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood, KY.
Irene was the daughter of the late Letcher Davis Jr.and Kitty Kimberlin Davis, a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Taylor Mill, KY, and a retired QC inspector for the Cincinnati Book Binding CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Smith Jr.
She is survived by 1 son, Lowell T. Spencer of Walton, KY; 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Kelly of Independence, KY; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Chapel, Taylor Mill, KY. Visitation will be 5:00pm-8:pm Wednesday, June 12, at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY.
