Billy Ray Goodrich of the Holbrook, KY,communitywas born August 4, 1939, in Owen County, KY. He passed away Friday, March 19, 2010, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY, at the age of 70.

Billy was the son of the late Joseph Richard and Churchhill Marksberry Goodrich, He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired weight master for the Cincinnati Stockyards, and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Holbrook, KY, and the Sanders Coon Hunters Club. Billy was united in marriage to Sybil B. Littrell Goodrich on February 11, 1961.

In addition to being survived by his wife of 49 years, he is also survived by 1 son, Jim Goodrich of Corinth, KY; 1 daughter, Annie Hoffman of Owenton, KY; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 sister Betty West of Frankfort, KY.

Visitation will be 5:00pm - 8:00pm Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the funeral home, burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Holbrook, KY.
