Patricia Ann Shannon

Patricia Ann Shannon of Dry Ridge, KY was born April 26, 1939 in Washington, DC. She passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 70.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Charles Emery and Beatrice Boswell King, she was a retired cook for the former Dry Ridge Deli,former volunteer for the Grant County Schools, and a member of the Dry Ridge Presbyterian Church Church. Patricia was united in marriage to Richard A. Shannon on July 5, 1956.

Patricia was also preceded indeath by 1 daughter Kathy Shannon and 1 grandson Joey Wood.

In addition to her husband of 53 years, Patricia is survived by 4 daughters Sandra Robbins of Williamstown KY, Debbie Sherrod of Dry Ridge KY, Patricia Dixon of Fredericksburg VA, and Linda Morris of Demossville KY; 2 sons William Shannon of King George VA, and Richard Shannon of Parachute CO; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 brother Sonny King of Colonial Beach VA.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown KY. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be5:00pm- 9:00pm,Friday, February 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
