Edward Bishop

Edward Bishop, 85, of Williamstown, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He had worked in mainenance at Nutone, Cincinnati, OH. He was a member of the Mason #736, Oneida, KY. He served in the US Army duringWorld War II where he received the Bronze Star Medal.

He was the son of the late Isaac and Susan Burns Bishop.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Orpha Callahan Bishop; his son, Ted Bishop of Williamstown, KY; his two daughters, Linda Kay Gibson and Michaela Lynn Bishop of Manchester, KY; his sister, Cleo Abercrombie of Williamstown, KY; his mother-in-law, Martha Ellen Callahan of Harrison, OH; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service only will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North, Williamstown, KY on Tuesday, September 7 at 2 PM. Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown is serving the family.
