Ruth Workman

December 1, 1929 - August 11, 2009

Elsie Ruth Franks Workman of Dry Ridge, Kentucky,was born December 1, 1929, in Mt. Zion, Kentucky. She Passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at her residence at the age of 79.

She was the daughter of the late William Barnet and Anna Dealtha Rash Franks. She was a farmer and homemaker, and amember of the Dry Ridge Christian Church. Ruth was united in marriage on October 23, 1946 to Willis Maxwell Workman.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Ruth is also survived by 1 daughter, Patricia Ann Fisk of Cold Spring, Kentucky; 2 sons, Gary Workman of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Bruce Wade Workman of Butler, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Juanita Mitchell, ofCold Spring, Kentucky,andPhyllis Scott of Carollton, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, August 14, 2009 atthe Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with burial at the Kentucky Veteran North Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am to 1:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
