Doyal Raymond Stephens was born in Jellico Springs, Tennessee on September 5, 1936 and passed away at his residence on October 22, 2013 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Dorothy Mae Stephens Allen.


Doyal is survived by one son: Timothy Stephens of Glencoe,; five daughters: Veronica Bishop of Latonia, Connie Pyke of Union, Theresa Wallen of Russell Springs, Angela Reynolds of Glencoe and Kimberly Nobles of Glencoe; his beloved companion: Jeri Neeley; one brother: Bruce Allen of Yosemite,; three sisters: Ruth Bartle of Mt. Healthy, Ohio, Verna Kilgore of Mt. Healthy, Ohio and Diana Davidson of Somerset; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. His son, Jeffrey Bruce Stephens; his stepfather, Leonard Allen and his niece, Karen Allen all preceded him in death.


Mr. Stephens was an electrician at Northern Kentucky University and former owner of Frontier Electric. He was a member of the Ten Mile Baptist Church in Napoleon, Gallatin County, Kentucky.


Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Ten Mile Baptist Church in Gallatin County, Kentucky. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Friday. Burial will be in the Napoleon IOOF Cemetery, Gallatin County. Pastor Kyle Waid and Pastor Tony Arsenault will be officiating. Debbie Moore, Sheila Arsenault and the Irwin Brothers will be presenting the music and the casket bearers will be Carl Foltz, Mannan Doyle Wallen,Anthony Challis, Daniel Stephens, Peyton Challis, Casey Reynolds, Michael Nobles and Owen Nobles.
