Lucille Taylor Hale

Lucille Taylor Hale of Williamstown was born November 5, 1918 in Aurora, IN and died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Louisville, KY at the age of 94.

She was the daughter of the late Ruben and Rilla Ellen Simpson Taylor, a 1936 graduate of the Williamstown High School, a homemaker, former restaurant waitress, and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church.

She was the widow of the late Harold Hale. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Ronald L. Hale, and 2 brothers Braudis Lee "Buck" Taylor and Kenneth W. "Chalk" Taylor.

Lucille is survived by 2 sons, James J. (Deana) Hale of Williamstown and Fred (Emily) Hale of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hale of Jamestown, KY; 1 brother, Robert O. (Kay) Taylor of Greenville, SC; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with burial to follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
