Raymond L "Sonny" Bowen

February 8, 1939 - September 24, 2013

Raymond L. "Sonny" Bowen, a Williamstown, Kentucky resident, and formerly of Pendleton County, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital-Florence on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the age of 74.

Mr. Bowen was a retired Customer Service Supervisor with U.S. Airways and Piedmont Airlines.He is a veteran of the US Air Force, and a member and former Deacon of Williamstown Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marsha Glass Bowen; one daughter, Becky Bowen Brown of Williamstown; two sons, Jeff (Phyllis) Bowen of Conyers, GA and Chuck (Lori) Bowen of Lexington; his mother, E. Marie Wallace Bowen Turner of Williamstown; two sisters, Brenda Montgomery of Dry Ridge and Elaine (Barry) Kinman of Crittenden; one brother, James Bowen of Tampa, FL and five grandchildren, Anthony Sarcione, Jeremy Bowen, Braeden Bowen, Carter Sarcione, and Brinlee Bowen.

Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his father, Chester Bowen, one brother, Rev. Danny Glenn Bowen and one sister, Bette Burlew.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 2:00 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.
