James "Jim" G McClanahan

James "Jim" G. McClanahan was born on October 5, 1958 in Owenton, Kentucky and died at his residence in Williamstown, Kentucky on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the age of 54.He was a son of Adelene Hicks McClanahan of Williamstown and the late Joseph Junior McClanahan.

On August 17, 1985, Jim was united in marriage with the former Betti Joe Minks.In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Joey (Camille) McClanahan, and two daughters, Tracy Louise (Jason "Jake") McIntosh, and Chasity Jo (Sean) Souder, all of Williamstown.Also surviving are three brothers, Larry R. (Judy) McClanahan and Charles J. (Joanie) McClanahan, and Bobby (Linda) McNay, all of Williamstown, one sister, Joy Deaton of Walton, and ten grandchildren.He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Allen McClanahan.
Mr. McClanahan was a former machinist for Gusher Pump Co., Dry Ridge and farmer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 31, from 4:00 - 9:00 PM.Burial will be in the Mt.
