Cledith Widener

July 29, 1941 - January 4, 2017

Cledith Carnes Widener was born in Dewitt, Kentucky on July 29, 1941 and passed away at St. Elizabeth, Grant County on January 4, 2017 at the age of 75.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie Bill and Minnie Edna Rose Carnes.

Mrs. Widener was united in marriage with Melvin Bruce Widener who preceded her in death.  She was the mother of Yusta Rene Pitts of Williamstown, Scott Widener of Williamstown and Keith Widener of Corinth and the sister of Laura Carnes of Pineville.  She was a resident of Williamstown and formerly worked as a secretary for several different companies including Staples in Florence.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, January 9, 2017.  Please contact the family for details as to location.  Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY is handling the arrangments.
