Robert Goley

August 13, 1953 - December 12, 2016

Robert Daryl Goley, a Verona resident, was born to the late Robert and Marilyn Stanley Goley on August 13, 1953.  He departed this life at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood on December 12, 2016 at the age of 63.

Mr. Goley was a diesel mechanic for Planes Moving and Storage in West Chester, OH for over 10 yrs.  He was a farmer his entire life.  He had a passion to show antique tractors, loved to restore old cars, pull tractors, he was a volunteer for the Boone Co. 4H, loved to fish, and loved to spend time with his grandkids.

Daryl is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sylvia Goley of Verona, three daughters, Sheryl Jones (David) of Verona, KY,  Lori Tapp of Williamstown, KY,  Ashley Schwanenberger (Christopher) of Verona, KY, beloved nephew, Jason Alsip of Verona, KY, one sister, Lynnette Goley Appel (Dale) of Burlington, KY, seven grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3-5pm at the Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Memorial services will be at 5pm. Memorials are suggested to the Goley Family Memorial, 1723 Hwy 2850, Verona, KY 41092
