Janet Jones

July 21, 1935 - November 25, 2016

Janet Webb Martin Jones was born July 21, 1935 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away November 25, 2016 at Rosedale Green in Latonia, Kentucky at the age of 81.  She was the daughter of the late Robert George Webb and Aurelia Ambrose Day.

On Dec. 30, 1977, Janet was united in marriage to Calvin Jones.  Calvin preceded her in death on Mar. 8, 1998.  She was also preceded in death by a son: Kenneth "Nick" Martin and two brothers: Bob Cooper and Jr. Day.

Janet is survived by two sons: Robbie Martin (Sally) of Walton and Kevin Martin (Anita) of Walton; a daughter: Kim Raybourne (Rick) of Walton; three brothers: Bill Willett of Walton, John Kaltenback of Covington and Dick Webb of Independence; two sisters: Sylvia Spegal of Walton and Mollee Milner of Union; 6 grandchildren: Korey Martin, Nicholas Martin, Kelsey Martin, Madison Martin, Noah Martin and Gabby Martin; and 1 great grandchild: Brady Martin.

She was a retired server in local area restaurants.  She will be remembered by her family most for her love of cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY  41092.  Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery.
