Dennis Hisle

Dennis Wayne Hisle, Sr. of Williamstown, KY was born January 17, 1948 in Lexington, KY and died Friday, June 3, 2016 at his residence at the age of 68.

He was the son of the late George Carol Hisle, Sr. and Mabel Thorne Stone Hisle. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired U.S. Postal Carrier in Lexington, KY, and attended the Harmony Christian Church, Georgetown, KY. He was also the Vice Commander of the Disabled Veterans, Lexington and the former USPS Union Representative. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Surviving is 3 daughters, Chris Portwood of Georgetown, Jodi Salmons of Corinth, and Brandy Hisle of Williamstown; 1 son, Rev. Dennis Wayne Hisle, Jr. of Berea; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Lydia Wells of Paris.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with burial to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday June 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
