Edgar Earl Baker

July 4, 1944 - May 31, 2016

Mr. Edgar E. Baker, Jr., of Lexington, KY. passed away Tuesday, May 31 at St. Joseph Hospice in Lexington, KY. at the age of 71.  Mr. Baker was born July 4, 1944 in Kenton County, KY. to the late Edgar E. Baker, Sr. and Mary Mullins Baker.  Mr. Baker retired from Lexmark Corporation where he was a programs analyst.  Mr. Baker was a 1962 graduate of Simon Kenton High School and the University of Kentucky where he received an MBA degree.  Mr. Baker proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and at the time of his passing he was a member of the Piner Baptist Church.

Mr. Baker leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Susan Cady Baker, 2 daughters: Mary Hannah Riley and her husband Shawn of Lexington, KY., Christine Lillian Baker of Dunwoody, Georgia, a granddaughter: Sydney Riley of Lexington, KY., 3 sisters: Norma Jean Huth of Vista, CA., Mary Ann Hill and her husband Sam of Knoxville, TN., Nancy Schneider and her husband Bill of Fiskburg, KY.

There will be no visitation and graveside committal services with full military honors will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, June 3 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
