Dorothy Fay Gayhart

January 2, 1934 - April 14, 2016

Mrs. Dorothy Fay Gordon Gayhart of Crittenden, KY. passed away Thursday, April 14 at St. Elizabeth Florence.  Mrs. Gayhart was born January 2, 1934 in Grant County, KY. to the late Doll Gordon and Urie Webster Gordon.  Mrs. Gayhart was a homemaker and a former housekeeper.  At the time of her passing Mrs. Gayhart was a member of the Violet Ridge Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gayhart was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gayhart in 2003, by a daughter, Kathy Campbell in 2008 and by all of her siblings.

Mrs. Gayhart leaves to mourn her passing a son: Tony Gayhart and his wife Linda of Burlington, KY., daughters: Barbara Jones and her husband Dennis of Dry Ridge, KY. and Debra Tapp of Virginia.  Mrs. Gayhart was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Fay Gordon Gayhart will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, April 18 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.  Visitation will be there on Sunday, April 17 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
