James R. Young

September 10, 1953 - April 8, 2016

Mr. James R. Young of Owen County, KY. passed away Friday, April 8 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. at the age of 62.  James was born September 10, 1953 in Corinth, KY. to the late James Young and Almira Wright Young.  James was a retired truck mechanic and a he was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother: Roscoe Lee Young on April 4.

James leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Linda Newton Young, daughters: Ann Marie Bruin of Georgetown, KY., Kim Owens of Barbourville, KY., son: James Allen Young of New Columbus, KY., stepsons: Matt Allen of Corinth, KY., Micah Ingram of Montana, a sister: Ora Halfhill of Corinth, KY., a brother: Dennis Young of Corinth, KY. and he was blessed with 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. James R. Young will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 14 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Harrison officiating.  Visitation will be there on Wednesday, April 13 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County.
