June 24, 1935 - March 11, 2016

Mr. George M. Toole of Dry Ridge, KY passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at the age
of 80. George was born on June 24, 1935 in Dry Ridge to the late Owen and Eula Rose
Toole.  George graduated from Grant County High School in 1955.  He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in Korea. He married Alice Adelaide Gross on July 25, 1964. He was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. He was self employed as a home builder, housing developer, and farmer. He also worked in tobacco sales. He enjoyed traveling with his many friends and pursued the hobbies of golf, hunting, antique collecting and restoration, and vegetable gardening. He also had a tremendous passion for woodworking and was known for his skills as a furniture maker. To the many people who loved George, he will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends, his generosity and service to others, his gift of telling stories, and his quick sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Toole was preceded in death by his brothers Owen
Toole, Harry Toole, Ray Toole, and J.T. Toole.

George is survived by his wife Alice Adelaide of Dry Ridge, his daughter Jennifer
and son-in-law Darryl Deaton of Nolensville, TN., and his sister Addie Rose Rankin
of Williamstown, KY. He was proud to have two grandchildren Davis George Deaton (17)
and Ansley Elizabeth Deaton (15).

Funeral services for Mr. George M. Toole will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March
13 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge with the Rev.
Willie Ailstock officiating. Visitation will also be on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 3:00
pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
