David Scott Hammond

May 17, 1960 - February 20, 2016

Mr. David Scott Hammond, of Covington, KY. and formerly of Owen County, KY. passed away Saturday, February 20 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 55.  Mr. Hammond was born May 17, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Glen Hammond and the late Jill Winer Hammond.  David worked as a truck driver.

David was preceded in death by his mother: Jill Winer Hammond on March 20, 2014 and by a brother: Gordon Jeffrey Hammond on December 19, 2000.

David leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Jeanie Buffin Hammond, 1 son: Ian Dalton Hammond of Walton, KY., his father: Glen Hammond of Corinth, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. David Scott Hammond will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 24 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Brad Vincent officiating.  Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Souder Cemetery, Owen County.
