Mr. Jason Clay "J.C." Richardson, of Williamstown, KY. passed away Friday, February 12 at his home at the age of 81. Mr. Richardson was born February 27 1934 in Estill County, KY. to the late Henry C. and Nettie Richardson. Mr. Richardson was the owner and operator of J.C.'s Custom Body Shop in Williamstown for many years and was widely known for his craftsmanship. In addition to the pride he took in his work in the body shop he enjoyed restoring vintage cars especially Corvettes. He enjoyed motorcycles and would take long trips on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was also a farmer and enjoyed the farm life including tending to his livestock and working in the garden. Mr. Richardson attended the Sherman Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife: Ruby Dean Richardson on November 9, 2013.
Mr. Richardson leaves to mourn his passing 3 daughters: Patricia Taylor and her husband Joe of Crittenden, KY., Vickie Nicholson and her husband Duane of Williamstown, KY., and Jeanette "Jenny" Vance and her husband Terry of Corinth, KY. he also is survived by a brother: Edgbert Richardson of Frankfort, KY. Mr. Richardson was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Jason Clay Richardson will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 16 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Bob Tarasiak officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 15 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
