Gary L. Braun

December 26, 1947 - May 10, 2015

Mr. Gary Lee Braun, of Crittenden, KY. passed away Sunday, May 10 at his residence at the age of 67. Mr. Braun was born December 26, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Herman C. Braun and Minnie Diehl Braun. Mr. Braun retired from Westinghouse Corporation and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Braun proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Braun was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Braun and by a brother: Herman Braun. Mr. Braun leaves to mourn his passing a son: Christopher Braun of Crittenden, KY., 2 brothers: Keith Braun of Somerset, KY., Charles Braun of Fairfield, OH., 2 sisters: Sandy Coddington of Fairfield, OH. and Betty Cockriel of St. Paul, MN., he was blessed with a granddaughter: Makenzie Braun of Crittenden, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Gary Lee Braun will be conducted 12:30 pm Monday, May 18 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Visitation will be there on Monday, May 18 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Burial with full military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to Vietnam Veterans in care of the funeral home.
