Raymond Switzer

January 7, 1926 - March 9, 2014

Raymond H. Switzer of Comanche, Oklahoma formerly of Grant Co. passed away Sunday, March 9 at the Duncan Regional Hosptital in Comanche, Oklahoma at the age of 88. Raymond was born on January 7. 1926. He was a retired farmer and construction worker. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Tilley Swtizer. Raymond leaves to mourn his passing 3 sons, Eddie R. Switzer of Dry Ridge, KY, Ronnie J. Switzer of Ryan, OK and James H. Switzer of Williamstown, KY; 1 daughter; Dorothy Valentine of Hartford City, IN; 3 step sons: Freddie Tilley of Duncan, OK, Ricky Tilley of Comanche, OK and Jerry Tilley of Comanche, OK; 2 step daughters: Janice Schumacher of Comanche, OK and Kay Easter of Roanoke, TX; Raymond was also blessed with 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous step granchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 1pm Sat. April 26 at the New Columbus Cemetery(Owen Co.) with Rev. Josh Landrum officiating.
