Jennifer Gale Bates Woolums, of Harrison County, KY. passed away in Hawaii where her husband is serving in the United States Navy on Friday, July 5 at the age of 28. Jennifer was born August 10, 1984 in Harrison County, KY. to Rob & Patti Campbell Bates. Jennifer was a homemaker, an avid UK fan and at the time of her passing she was a member of the Sadieville Christian Church. Jennifer loved her family and loved being a mother and a military spouse. She also loved butterflys. Jennifer was preceded in death by a grandmother: Ruth Campbell. Jennifer leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Tim Woolums, her son: Austin Woolums, her parents: Rob & Patti Bates of Harrison County, KY., a brother: Robbie (Michelle) Bates of Harrison County, KY., her maternal grandfather: Glenn Campbell of Crittenden, KY. her paternal grandparents: Bob & Lois Bates of Harrison County, KY., her mother-in-law & father-in-law: Ralph Woolums, Jr. & Cyndie Woolums of Harrison County, KY., a niece: Aubrey Bates of Harrison County, KY. and she leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Jennifer will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 17 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Scott Meadows officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 16 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Scott County. Memorials contributions are suggested to the Austin Woolums Fund.
