Chelsea Renee Wright Volker of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 near Mason, KY. at the age of 18 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mrs. Volker was born October 5, 1993 in Florence, KY. to Cheryl Harrison Wright and James A. Wright. She worked for KFC/Taco Bell in Dry Ridge, KY. and attended the Corinth Baptist Church. At Grant County High School she had been active with the JR. ROTC and had joined the National Guard. At the time of her passing a baby girl she was pregnant with perished along with her in the accident. Chelsea leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Joseph Anthony Volker of Dry Ridge. Her mother: Cheryl Harrison Wright of Dry Ridge. Her father and stepmother: James A. & Sonia Wright of Corinth, KY., her grandmother: Genora Wright of Brooksville, IN., sisters: Rebecca Lynn Wright, Lindsey Nicole Wagner, Kristin Beth Wright and Samantha Paige Wright all of Corinth, KY., and 1 brother: David Jackson Whitaker of Dry Ridge, KY. She is also survived by her mother-in-law: Bonnie Hicks of Corinth, KY. Funeral services for Chelsea will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, July 5 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Bro. Jimmy Sears officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 4 at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Corinth, KY. Those serving as pallbearers are: James A. Wright, Timmy Richie, Rush Wright, Luke Wright, Cody Roland.
