Claude Brown, of Corinth, KY. passed away on Sunday, October 2, at Florence Park Care Center in Florence, KY., at the age of 84. Mr. Brown was born June 15, 1927 in Barbourville, KY., to the late James Floyd Brown and Rosie (Price) Brown. Mr. Brown owned and operated B&C auto service in Corinth, KY and was a farmer. At the time of his passing, Mr. Brown was a member of Marcus Baptist Church. Mr. Brown is survived by a son: Steve Brown of Corinth, KY, daughters: Joyce Faye Scroggins of Falmouth, KY, and Debbie Brown of Williamstown, KY, sister: Mary Jane Smith of Savannah, TN, brothers: Clyde Brown of Demossville, KY, Lee Brown and James Brown, Jr. of Falmouth, KY. Mr. Brown has 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wives: Carrie Smith and Pauline Brown, by a daughter: Diana Sue Gambrell, and by a son: Eddie Dean Brown, sisters: Catherine and Sudie Mae, brothers: Eugene, Kenneth, and Chester Brown, and by a great grand daughter: Lexie Brown. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 6, in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Ed Deaton officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Burial will be in the Corinth I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Corinth, KY.
