Jennetta Fay Spegal

December 5, 1932 - August 28, 2011

Jennetta Fay Spegal, of Mt. Zion, passed away Sunday, August 28 at the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 78. Mrs. Spegal was born December 5, 1932 in Napoleon, KY. to the late Cad Armstrong and Nora Price Armstrong. Mrs. Spegal was a homemaker and had worked for many years at the Levi Strauss Co. in Florence, KY. In later years she worked in the cafeteria at the Crittenden-Mt. Zion Elementary School. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday school, worked in Vacation Bible School and was a member of the church WMU. Mrs. Spegal enjoyed quilting, gardening and tending to her flowers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spegal was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Brandon Spegal and Stacey Spegal. Mrs. Spegal leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Charles R. Spegal, 1 daughter: Paula M. Spegal of Erlanger, KY. and 1 son: James R. Spegal of Mt. Zion, KY. She has 1 great granddaughter: Maleia Clem of Covington, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Spegal will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 1 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Steve Alford and Rev. Paul Marksberry officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 5-9 pm and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
