Donella Clement (Don) Peace, of Corinth, KY. passed away on Thursday, October 7 while he was a patient at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown at the age of 85. Mr. Peace was born May 21, 1925 in Corbin, KY. to the late Elbert Peace and Arkie Mayne Peace. He served his nation during time of war in World War II in the US Army and during the Korean War in the US Air Force. Mr. Peace was a retired truck driver for City Haul, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH. and was a revival evangelist. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Peace is survived by his wife: Rebecca Baker Peace and 4 daughters: Carolyn Ann (David) Herald of Hebron, KY., Mary (Mark) Knight of Corinth, KY., Janie (David) Oehlert of Oaks, PA., & Misty (Mike) Keeton of New Liberty, KY. He has 2 sons: Donald (Lillian ) Peace of Sparta, KY. & James (Mary Ann) Peace of Anderson, SC. He has 1 brother: Arvin Peace of Corbin, KY. Mr. Peace is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Peace will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be there on Sunday from 2:00 pm until time of services. Burial will be on Monday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
