Jerry Wayne Scroggins

Jerry Wayne Scroggins, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away on Friday, May 28 at St. Elizabeth Williamstown at the age of 58. Mr. Scroggins was born July 28, 1951 in Covington, KY. to the late William Guy Scroggins and Pauline Noel Scroggins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Scroggins was preceded in death by a sister: Donna True and by a brother: Durwood Scroggins. He was a plant manager for Shaurer-Brookwood Corp. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and collecting clowns. Mr. Scroggins leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife: Phyllis Work Scroggins, 1 daughter: Nicole Scroggins of Sligo, KY. and 2 sons: Robert F. Scroggins of Dry Ridge, KY. and Douglas Scroggins of Sanders, KY. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Regina Jameison of Jonesville, KY., Connie Hearn of Dry Ridge, KY. and 2 brothers: Bradford Scroggins of Folsom, KY. and John Scroggins of Dry Ridge, KY. Mr. Scroggins is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Scroggins will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, June 5 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Chipman and Rev. Josh Landrum officiating. Visitation will be there on Friday from 5-9 pm. Burial will be in the Jonesville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
