Alice Katherine Smith

Alice Katherine Smith, 69, of Dry Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, February 2 in the Grant Manor Nursing Home in Williamstown. She was born November 28, 1940 in Harlan County, KY. to the late Carr Hensley and Blanche Collins Hensley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sherman Full Gospel Church and she was a member of the Grant Manor Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband: Howard L. Smith of Dry Ridge, and she has 2 sons: Anthony Ray Smith and Charles David Smith, both of Dry Ridge. She has 1 grandson: Michael David Smith of Frankfort, KY. and 1 niece: Evonda Goins of Carlisle, KY. and 1 great niece: Natasha Goins of Carlisle, KY. Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, Feb. 8 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Visitation will be there on Monday from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County.
