Mary Elizabeth Dalton

Mary Elizabeth Dalton, 80, of Demossville, KY. passed away on Friday, December 18 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. She was born August 24, 1929 in Dry Ridge, KY. to the late William Arthur Fortner and Nancy Jane Penick Fortner. She was a homemaker and a farmer and a member of the Grassy Creek Christian Church. She was preceded in death by a son: Arthur Ray Dalton in 1962. She is survived by 3 daughters: Theresa Ann Sorrell of Falmouth, KY., Peggy Jo Thornberry of Demossville, KY. and Vanessa Ruth Dalton of Cheviot, OH. She has 5 sons: Paul Dalton of Erlanger, KY., Michael Dalton of Covington, KY., Cleve Randall Dalton, Philip Dalton and Ricky Dalton, all of Crittenden, KY. She has 3 Sisters: Wanda Carr of Covington, KY., Garnett Hall of Proctorville, OH. and Jane Collins of Cincinnati, OH. 2 Brothers: John Fortner of OH. and George Fortner of Southern Pines, NC. She is survived by 23 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Allender officiating. Visitation will be there on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
