Maria Mauer Chambers, 80, of Williamstown, KY. passed away Wednesday, December 16 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born February 16, 1929 in Alcey, Germany to the late Ludwig Maurer and Emma Kausch Maurer. She was a homemaker and was a former member of the Central Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Wright, KY. She was the widow of Harold Chambers who passed away in 1994. She is survived by 3 daughters: Crystel Heis of Worms, Germany, Rose Ann Day of Cynthiana, KY. and Janet Sowder of Ludlow, KY. 1 Son: Everett Ray Chambers of Dry Ridge, KY. She has 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Services will be conducted on Thursday, December 24 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. There will be visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm.
