Jim Gibson

Jimmie David Gibson, 63, of the New Columbus Community of Owen County, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 3:45 am at his residence following a long illness. He was born on November 25, 1945 in Fairbanks, KY. to the late Robert E. Gibson and Anna Davis Gibson. He was a retired brick mason and co-owner of D-J Amusements. He was a member and deacon of the New Columbus Baptist Church and also taught Sunday School. He is survived by his wife: Donna Hall Gibson. He has three daughters: Kelley Perry of Corinth, KY., Lisa Newman of Williamstown, KY. and Angel Young of Corinth, KY. He has one sister: Priscilla Marshall of Frankfort, KY. He has 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister: Shirley Gibson.
