Walter C. Mains

Walter C. Mains, 86, of Williamstown, passed away on Thursday, June 18 at 9:35 am at his home following a short illness. He was born March 6, 1923 in Bracken County, KY. to the late Jesse T. Mains and Ella Patterson Mains. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and a farmer. He was a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Kentucky Cattleman's Association. He was preceded in death by his wife: Rozella Mains in 1998. Also preceded in death by 2 grandsons: Matthew and Jason Patton. He is survived by 4 daughters: Donna (Bob) Snell of Erlanger, KY., Linda (Mickey) Covey of Williamstown, KY., Kay (Denny) Covey of Dry Ridge, KY. and Pam (Jay) Patton of Jonesville, KY. 2 Sisters: Mary Crouch and Hattie Dunn both of Dry Ridge, KY. He has 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
